Marty has worked in the film business since 1991 with a diverse resume that includes writer, director, producer, and distribution executive. As a writer, Marty has had with three scripts produced as feature films. "Diamond Run" was produced by Edgewood Studios and distributed worldwide by Artist View Entertainment. "Ground Rules" was acquired and produced by Bottom Line Films, distributed internationally by Artist View Entertainment. Marty wrote and co-directed "Yonggary", a Korean/US film production that was acquired by Columbia Tri-Star for worldwide rights. Marty is co-producer for the recently completed independent film "Standing Still", starring James Van Der Beek, Mina Survari and Colin Hanks. His television experience includes producing and co-directing the outdoors action pilot, "Ocean Hunters Extreme".
Marty began his career in international film distribution and he has been employed by a variety of established film production/distribution companies in both sales and acquisitions. His extensive resume includes employment at Seoul/Los Angeles based Media Film International (VP Sales & Acquisitions), United International Film Corp. (President of Distribution), American World Pictures (VP Acquisitions), G.E.L Entertainment (Film & Sales Consultant), and Artist View Entertainment (International Sales Executive). Marty’s vast contacts and knowledge of the film and television business, combined with his successful writing achievements, make his a valuable asset and commodity to the production/distribution team.
